Seeing life in a dry garden

This is a video that I made the 10th of July 2025, during my short visit to Mallorca, in Sant Honorat.

In the summer months, Ecovida Project Mallorca is on stand-by, as I have to go and work on boats, and also because the conditions in the Ermita, and particularly the lack of water, can't support the maintenance of the vegetable garden.

So it dries, and the soil has a chance to rest, until October, when I will reactivate the project.

Even in these conditions, where all seems dead, with the remains of what was there in spring, I see life.

Life, as some plants are still alive, perfectly adapted to the summer drought.

But also life in those dead plants that I have left to flower and produce the seeds for the next season.

Life in different forms, life at different stages.

Life is all around... Always.

If we pay attention, even in the desert, we can find it.

And it can teach us many things.
