The Hermitage of Sant Honorat is one of 3 shrines of the mount of Randa, located on the island of Mallorca.

It was founded in the late 14th century and remains an active center run by the order of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. It is open all year and hosts a number of retreats and seminars, all linked with spirituality.

As a place known for its openness, regardless of religious beliefs, it has also opened its doors to Ecovida Project Mallorca and embraces the the fact that Nature is not separate to Man.
We bring to Sant Honorat, a stronger sense of ecology using Permaculture as a base model for our project.

This place has been our center of activities for five years, and will remain in the memories of all of thoses that have had the chance to experience it together, learning and practicing permaculture.

Now, Ecovida Project will find other projects and communities around Spain and Portugal.

In the beginning of 2021, we created our "Permaculture Laboratory" in the Ermita, with the help of dedicated volunteers that come regularly to participate and learn about Permaculture practices.

We use this space to grow food for the community and demonstrate different techniques and principles that we use in ecological and regenerative agriculture.
